Homelessness Prevention
ECHO’s Homelessness Prevention program provides emergency financial assistance to Gadsden, Leon, and Wakulla county residents facing the loss of their housing due to a financial or other crisis. The intent of the program is to provide financial assistance for late or upcoming rent payments to enable families and individuals to avoid eviction and remain stably housed after receiving the assistance.
Complete the form below to request assistance for past due or upcoming rent. Please note that submitting a request doesn’t guarantee approval, but you will be contacted by ECHO within 3 business days to begin processing your application.
Unfortunately, the funding for our rent assistance program has been exhausted and we are not accepting new applications at this time. Please check www.echotlh.org/rent on May 1, 2024 for updates regarding funding availability.
