Homelessness Prevention

ECHO’s Homelessness Prevention program provides emergency financial assistance to Big Bend area residents facing the loss of their housing due to an economic hardship or other crisis. The intent of the program is to provide financial assistance for late or upcoming rent payments to enable families and individuals to avoid eviction and remain stably housed after receiving the assistance.

Please note that submitting a request doesn’t guarantee approval and income/rent limits are subject to change, but you will be contacted by ECHO within 5 business days to begin processing your application.
