ECHO’s Furniture Bank provides gently-used furniture at no charge to those in need and is the only free source of furniture in Leon County.

ECHO’s free furniture program has been a critical component of the wide range of services provided. The Furniture Bank partners with our peer human services agencies to receive and distribute gently-used donated items through a collaborative referral network.

Through our local shelter partners, we serve:

  • Formerly homeless clients moving from transitional housing into their own residences
  • Youth who are moving out of group homes and have aged-out of foster care
  • Victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and trafficking
  • Veterans in the Family Promise of the Big Bend Rapid Rehousing program
  • Refugee families resettling in Leon County
